Pretty Little Witches...

"Pretty Little Witches" is the next ATC swap I am participating in with Kimberly of ArtJoyStuff.  Thankfully I got busy and created these right away when I signed up.  I always spend days making my ATCs as I need them to speak to me while I am designing and putting them together.

I like how they turned out and hope the other participants will also like them.

Here is how I packaged them this time.  I am always relieved to see that they have arrived safely in Kimberly's hands.  This time I am extra pleased that I got them made and mailed before I got seasonably sick and down for the count.  I don't make gifts to give to others while I am sick as I wouldn't want to share my germs with anyone else and have them get sick.  With the Fall winds and raking up leaves I got a sinus infection and had to visit the doctor and get meds.  While I was there I also got my flu shot.  Needless to say I am not quite up to par so I am taking time to do some reading and resting.
It is raining today and I am so very thankful.  Hydrating our forest and water table.  Refreshing and cozy is our day spent indoors.
Love and healing energy to Mr. C's sister Joanne as she is recovering from emergency surgery to implant a pacemaker which will allow her heart to work better and the blood to flow properly.  We are so thankful she will be feeling so much better.   Keeping her from her beautiful gardens and plants is not a good thing.  Her green thumbs really do wonders in her glorious gardens.
Thank you for my new followers and thank you all for your comments.  I love reading them and getting feedback.  I have some projects in the works and will be getting back to them soon and sharing with you.  Until then...hot chocolate with marshmallows, a bowl of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich is on the menu to add to this cozy cool wet weather.  It snowed above us at Donner Summit.  This is early for snow fall.  I believe the Farmer's Almanac is predicting a very harsh and cold winter this year.  In the meantime I shall embrace Falling into Autumn.  I enjoyed very much our beautiful magical Harvest Moon.
Happy Creative Hearts...

  2. Hello Sherry,
I love all your witchy cards! How fun! The way you have packaged them is very cool too. I am sure your swap friends will be delighted.
I am sorry you are a bit under the weather. The flu shot itself can make one feel awful. So take good care of yourself....spend a little more time resting : )
    Hugs,
    Terri

  5. Cute witchies! I am sure the swap participants will love them. It has turned cool here and fall is fast approaching. Apple season. I love apple season and the apples are big and juicy this year after a wet early summer and dry late summer. I have also heard we are to have a snowy and cold winter. I have made big pots of soup twice this week, corn chowder and chicken rice. Soup and a sandwich ... and apple pie ... is so warming on an autumn day ... Pat

  6. Hi Sherry. Very cute ATC's. You are really having fun making these. I wonder how you are displaying the ones you receive. Maybe you could share that in a later post. Hope you feel better soon. I had been busy these past 2 weeks, with y brother. He lives in California and was visiting. He stayed with me and I was the one with hi all the time since I do not work. But he is gone now and am hoping to have things get back to normal by wednesday. I have sheets and towels to wash and clean this house that has been semi-abandoned.
I should be posting on my blog this week the gifts I received from you and 2 others. I did do a video though and it is uploaded on my youtube channel. Anallanes02
You are lucky to have some cool weather already. We only have heat, muggyness and rain. YUCK. It is horrible. I have been exercising daily and sometimes feel I can't take a deep breath.
Happy crafting to you and please take good care of yourself Ana

  7. Hi Sherry:
Love your sweet, little witches! They're adorable.

I'm so sorry you've been under the weather, and send along great, big healing hugs for you and your SIL. I'm glad that modern science can help with issues like hers to improve her quality of life. Many more years for her in your family.

Take it easy and enjoy the fall weather, dear friend. You're in my thoughts, always.
    xo

The ATC`s like all your work look wonderful.
Trust your SIL is feeling fully fit soon, my brother had to have a pacemaker fitted a few years ago when he was about 56 and is feeling fine these days, now 60 and just retired as a headmaster at a school in Kuwait so back home here in the UK now after being abroad since 1983.

  10. Wonderful, bewitching witches!!! My first taste of Halloween. Wasn't the full harvest moon spectacular?! I LOVE full moon time, and this was one of the best. In the mornings, on my way to work, the sun would rise on one side and the moon smile on the other side of the sky. Aah. Hope you are feeling MUCH better, Sherry. Sinus infection season is here... Happy Sunday, happy comfort food! Love, kathy
