Gratitude and Peace...

Thank you for your wonderful heartfelt comments on the loss of my Sasha BooBoo kitty.  I am filled with gratitude for such caring and compassionate friends and family.  Mr. C is also comforted with the love of people who understand such a huge loss.
So today we are surrounding ourselves with peace and the little things.  Nature is amazing in all its wonder.  I have set out some of my favorite things from nature...moss, bark, rocks, twigs, sea glass.  Each gathered on a simple walk or from our property.  Moments of silence enjoyed with a smile.
Here I set out some candles just to feel the cozy warmth of the flickering flame.
I am getting back to my daily routines...slowly.   My heart is still shattered and the void will not be filled.  Mr. C and I are closer than ever as we share in our traumotional state of being.
I am continuing to make my lists and check them twice.  I'll be in the studio today and hopefully make something with beads just because I can.   I will try to remember to take some photos to share with you as it may be a creative gift idea for this busy season.
Once again, thank you each for your loving comments and huge hugs of caring.  I am so very grateful.

  2. I am so sorry to hear that Sasha is gone. I know how hard it is, definitely traumotional. She certainly had a very long life and was so obviously loved. Sending hugs and blessings, Tammy

  3. It is so difficult to get back to our normal routine after losing our fur friend(s). I still look for my Mandy girl when in my sewing room! Soon little Kalee will totally fill that void but right now she isn't 'trust worthy' to let roam! beads, threads, pins...who knows what else awaits her and she'll find them for sure! Again, time will heal but the memories will last forever (thank goodness!).

How wonderful that you have all of those things on your property! The sea glass must be divine!!

    Be well,

  7. Sherry, I am so sorry to hear of your beloved little Sasha.
Traumotional is an all-encompassing word, and a very good one to describe what happens to us when we are faced with such gut-wrenching losses. I am glad for you that you were able to have those last special moments, to drink her in, and savour her spirit, and I believe those memories will be of some comfort in the days and weeks ahead. The blessings of pets...

  8. What a beautiful way to honor your love for your Sasha BooBoo Kitty. Maybe you should make a piece of art that honors her in your life...? Whenever you feel up to it....I found that working my emotions out through my art really helps me. Big hugs to you and to Mr. C. You're lucky to have each other.
